Automatic email archiving can be set up in two ways:
-
Creating an 'archive' or 'observer' role that is a BCC recipient on all process rules where you want to keep a copy of the email. Remember to add the appropirate user to all course masters and course dates.
-
Let us know which email address(es) you would like email copies sent to.
Additional email setups
For the test server and for those with an International Training Company license and greater, let us know the address(es) you would like to have all test emails sent to. Emails are not sent to the reciepients defined within the rules to avoid test emails being sent to customers.
Error messages can also be sent to specific address(es), please email us with your preferred error address(es).
For these licences we can set up the following (outside of the CourseSales.com configuration - maintained by our site-wide administrator):
-
testEmail - email address(es) for receiving emails copies generated while testing. Emails to all other specified addresses (roles and customers) are ignored.
-
archiveEmail - email address(es) that receive a BCC of all emails sent (similar to the ‘archive’ address mentioned above)
-
errorEmail - email address(es) that receive messages when an error occurs due to incorrect or missing data (usually no To: and/or Cc: address)
